teamUI: Law Students Society Prove That 54 Is Greater Than 57
Do you remember the whole Amaechi saga during the governors forum when it was said that 14 > 16?
The same thing was alleged to have happened during the congress of the Law Students Society when it was the time to decide who was going mount the mantle of the Deputy Speaker.

Law Students society, UI conducted its congress today and the unthinkable happened when voting commenced for the post of deputy speaker.After counting, a particular candidate was believed to have won but the powers that be that insisted on open ballot system thought otherwise and insisted on recounting but some of the students felt recounting will be a betrayal of the core tenet of democracy since politics is a game of numbers. The congress was nothing but a ruse. I guess I am this bothered because these set of people that can be charged for political larceny and electoral perfidy will be the same set of people that will be condemning political gladiators at the centre. Just like the Nigerian governor’s forum brouhaha, LSS is trying to tell the rest of the world that 54 is greater than 57..I condemn this act of political theft as a core deontologist and by extension, a philosophy student’.
