Ghana's star player at the ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup in
Brazil, Asamoah Gyan, has added another record to its growing list
of milestones.
According to Supersport's report, Gyan has
become the first African to score in three World Cup finals after
scoring against Germany in Fortaleza on Saturday, 21 June, 2014.
The game in Saturday saw several milestones set on both sides, but for Africa this may be the most significant.
It
was gathered that the Ghanaian player was an Udinese player when he
scored his first in 2006, a Sunderland star during his second world cup
appearance in 2010, and an Al Ain forward now, in 2014.
Taking a
pass from midfield, Gyan peeled away from the German defense before
smashing a shot past Manuel Neuer to give Ghana a 2-1 lead.
