Fashionista Now The Director General Of NDLEA

As we all know, it is in all the dailies that Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Mrs Roli-Bode George as Director General of NDLEA (one of the several sensitive agencies in Nigeria)

Away from the politics, Mrs Roli was a face of fashion to reckon with in the late 1990s, words on the street has it that she own her own fashion line (it could just be a conventional fashion designer shop for all we care but she owns one).Well, Roli has not been all about taking care of Bode as an house wife alone, according to her Linkedin profile, she was a Federal Commissioner at National Population Commission Nigeria (we don’t really hear/know of their direct effect on the society but they are important) until her selection as NDLEA boss
Now to Bode
Few years ago Bode (Roli’s Husband) was arrested and jailed (executive jail – he enjoyed more than a free man during his jail term) for stealing N4 Billion from Nigerian port authority. On his release some PDP stalwarts wore ankara and dansiki to-match to welcome the voltron for stealing such huge amount, we never heard anything from him again until he was selected to represent the yoruba region at the on going confab
The Twist;
At the moment not so many people knows the reason Roli was selected to replace the former DG of NDLEA (the present boss of PTDF – people chopping money) but one very certain thing here is that, she is the wife of Mr Bode and everyone (rational people) has been expressing their fears as regards her selection. Some are of the view that she may be influenced by her husband’s handlers to make the agency none functional while some said that some drug barons may have influenced her selection (2015 is round the corner someone has to foot the bill)
Roli is not Bode but people have loads of questions unanswered
